 Being an artist to me is seeing beauty and form in everything around you and creating a personal expression of this interpretation for others to see. It is not limited to one specific talent or skill.

 For me, this expression manifests itself in everything I do. I love to sing, listen to live music, paint, sew and draw and I often spend just as much time on the presentation of my cooking than the actual cooking itself. I am constantly curious and always learning from watching those around me.

 I chose Interior and Graphic design as my professional outlet in 2003, where I trained at Fanshawe College. I graduated in 2006 with an Advanced, Applied Diploma in Interior Design and went on to pursue many projects from London to Toronto. I also spent some time in Edmonton, Calgary and Banff on a handful of commercial design projects in 2005.

{ABOUT CANDACE}

A memorable career landmark for me was working with Candice Olson on season 6/7 of the national television show, Divine Design. I was able to meet a ton of interesting people in the world of television and design and see just how much goes into making one room spectacular. Shortly after my time on Divine, I went on to work for a wonderful family home builder in London Ontario. I truly fell in love with residential design and excelled in custom home designs, which helped the company win multiple awards with the London Home Builder's Association.

Being an Oxford County resident for the past 13 years, I really enjoy working within my home community and for the last year, have been the front-face of the new and controversial Woodstock Art Gallery.

Combining my design and business experiences,  I specialize in promotional materials specific to residential properties and retail businesses. I continue to assist builders, agents and individuals with the tools to successfully present their property for rental or sale to their clients. I offer conceptual Interior Design services, staging, CAD and Graphic design, then combine these specialized skills into polished marketing materials, giving my clients a professional advantage to their customers and investors.

My latest project working with Rogers Community Television as  host of PoP Oxford; an Arts inspired interview program, is both challenging and illuminating. In each segment, I get to meet new and established talent from Oxford County and get my hands dirty trying out everything from stained glass to pottery, all while learning tips from the best in their craft. Check it out on local Rogers channel 13 airing this fall!
